CR versus tamper evidence
Child-resistant means the closure was tested to resist opening by young children while remaining usable by adults. Tamper evidence means interference is visible. Many markets require both, and a package can pass one without the other.

The certification trap
Certification applies to a tested combination, not to a shape. Swap the closure supplier and keep the same bottle, and the certification no longer describes what you ship. This is the most common way a compliant looking order fails review.
