How the closures differ
Aviator uses a push and turn closure with a squeeze release, so it is fast to cap on a line and familiar to buyers. Spiral uses a threaded, screw down action that gives a smooth reclose and a cleaner silhouette.
Which format suits which product
A rough mapping that holds for most buyers.
- Flower in 60ml to 480ml: Aviator, for speed and grip
- Pre-rolls and slim formats: Spiral, for the narrower body
- Edibles and gummies: either, choose on labeling area
- Premium positioning: Spiral, for the finish and reclose feel
Labeling and decoration
Both formats accept wrap labels, pad print and silk screen. Check the curve on the panel before you commit to artwork: a wrap that looks flat in a mock-up can wrinkle on a tapered body.
Line considerations
Confirm torque specification and closure application speed with your co-packer. Certification covers a tested bottle and closure combination, so do not mix bodies and lids across formats.

Frequently asked
- Are both formats child-resistant?
- Yes, when bought as a matched body and closure set. Certification applies to the tested combination, not the shape.
- Which format is cheaper?
- Pricing tracks size and volume more than format. Ask for case, carton and pallet pricing on both and compare at your real run rate.
- Can I customise either format?
- Yes. Both support closure and body finishes, direct printing and labeling. Build a spec in the configurator and send it for pricing.
